In response, Mr. Ho Duc Lam, President of Vietnam Plastics Association, said: “Vietnam can only manufacture end products at present, and has not paid much attention to the development of plastic recycling. This leads to serious imports of raw materials.

Therefore, they suggested that the government improve the plastic recycling capacity of domestic enterprises, encourage citizens to skillfully use waste plastics and classify them properly.
